Scene: Lone kayaker appears from the dense fog wondering aimlessly toward the lake holding a half eaten cereal bar. He’s slowly dragging a kayak behind him, not realizing he’s entered a goose-poop minefield along the shore. What’s keeping him going? Is it the unknown of the fog, that record bass or something bigger? Like a home improvement list that’s been growing for months.
That’s how my wife would write the scene.
I took these foggy pics at Caesar Creek lake North East of Cincinnati up Interstate 71. I prefer to launch from Wellman Meadows boat ramp near the dam, off Oregonia Rd. This part of the lake is a no wake zone, great for kayaking and fishing.
